Could it be an update?

Yes it's true I am updating my blog. After fighting with my internet provider for a few days they seem to have magically fixed the painfully slow internet that once was. Sadly since my last post not much has changed. The exception to that is Tyson. He is now a full blown toddler! He is so much fun and just tonight said his first sentence "I love you." How cute is that!!! (I may have persuaded him a little to say it, but that is besides the point). Besides that we are just plugging along in good old I.F. Below are some pictures of fun things we have done lately:

Alright I give in...

After endless hounding by some of you (you know who you are) I am giving in and am updating my blog. I know some of you may think it is pure laziness on why I don't post more, and you are absolutley right. That and the fact that my internet is insanely slow makes blogging very unappealing most days.

We have been quite busy these last few weeks. Most of our adventures have revolved around going to or finding somewhere to watch the BYU football games. My entire family minus my dad went to the UCLA game. It was a ton of fun and the ending score made it even better. Ben and I got tickets to our company's box seats for the BYU Wyoming game and that was also really cool. We have been able to catch one of my little brother's football games and will be heading to Jerome to catch another this week (I know I am the coolest wife ever for supporting my husband's football addiction, but he makes up for it the rest of the year with the dancing, singing and reality shows!)

Tyson turned one year this last week. I can hardly believe that could be possible. He is still growing like a weed and is currently in 2T clothes! He is very close to walking and will stand on his own when he doesn't realize he is doing it. He keeps us constantly entertained, I sometimes wonder what we did before we had him.I will post some pictures of Ty's birthday and other recent pics. The video is of a toy we got him that he mostly loves, but hates when it gets stuck!

Tyson post

I couldn't blog without an update on Tyson. He had a great time with my family while we were gone. He cried hysterically when he saw us , but I think he has forgiven us. He is still enormous and still shows no interest in crawling or otherwise moving. He does love the babble and loves to laugh. Here are a few pictures of our little guy.

This video is a funny story. Every morning when I get ready Ty sits on the counter and watches me get ready. Everytime I use my eyelash curler he laughs, I don't know why but it happens every time. I thought I would let him play with it for a minute but realized that was a bad idea when he was sticking the end with all the mascara gunk in it in his mouth. I took it away from him and this is what happened:

Back to Reality

Its been a few weeks since we returned from our trip and I finally have a minute to recap... It was one of the best times I 've had in my life even though the airline industry tried its best to ruin it and almost succeeded (I'll have to write about that later, as it deserves it's own post). We had such a good time with our friends the Holidays, and it was so nice to not have to worry about anything for a few days. The boat was incredible and the service on it was the best I've ever experienced. The weather was gorgeous the entire time and we soaked up some great rays! I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking...

Bon Voyage!!

April has flown by and now the final count down (5 days) until we leave for our cruise! April was a fun month with my sisters wedding and all the events that led up to it. Tyson looked mighty handsome in his tuxedo although he hated it!

As it gets closer to leaving I am getting more anxious everyday to leave Tyson. Not that I am worried about him (my mom had seven kids and we are still alive) I just worry that he will wonder where we went or when we get back he won't like us anymore. I am sure once we are basking in the sun I will be o.k. I have never left him for a night so its just a little scary.
Other than that Ty a tank of a baby. He is 23 pounds and getting his eighth tooth! He loves to sit by himself but hates to be on his back or stomach so crawling is out of the question. At this rate I am going to be hauling around a 30 pound baby. Help!! Here are some recent pictures of all our activities.
My favorite is the last one where he looks like he passed out. What was in the punch??

Back again

We just got back from a near two week vacation. It's funny how I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation! We had to change our plans to go to Seattle at the last minute due to the passing of my Grandpa. I had the opportunity to see him a few days before he died. It was hard to see him as he was not the Grandpa I grew up with at all, but right before I left he looked at me and told me he loved me. It was a wonderful way to remeber my last moments with him. We stayed in Jerome for a few days to visit with family which was really neat. It is not often that all of my siblings are home at once.

We then made our way to Seattle and had a great time with Ben's parents who of course spoiled us to death. It was fun to take Tyson to all the Seattle sites. At least he can say he has been there, even though he won't remeber. We will miss going to Seattle, but are looking forward to exploring Portland when Ben's parent's move there in a few months. Tyson did great on the plane, but was a little cranky during our visit because he was getting 4 teeth! They are all on the bottom so it looks a little funny but cute! My mother-in-law gave me one of the "Vampire" books to read while I was there(does anyone know what I am talking about?) I know it sounds weird but you can't judge me until you have read one, they are addicting! I read one in two days. My sister-in-law has the other two and I am dying to get them!! Here are some recent pictures...
